The Department of CSE of PVPSIT has initiated a CODEX club with an objective to develop the competitive programming skills in the young nerds. It has all come under the aegis of the HOD, Department of CSE in order to provide an interactive learning platform which is the main idea behind kick-starting the club.
With the main focus being on enhancing the coding abilities, the students are also provided with the wonderful opportunity of learning and gaining a hands-on experience of working with recent technologies and also to encourage and make the study in groups where the concealed talent of all the students will be exposed to a large group and foster for the better results and to evaluate the programming skills such that it would be worthwhile whenever students attend the interviews of the software background companies which seek the coding ability of the students.

It's not only the coding and also to flourish the logical thinking skills and problem-solving ability by practicing a great number of coding problems which would make a sense whenever the students take the competitive exams.

We are going to organize coding events every week and an event on latest technology once in a month. Also, every weekend afternoon all the members of the club are available under the guidance of the professors of Dept. Of CSE to discuss any point on suspicion with great ardor. With this organization, we are going to organize a HACKATHON which is a 24-hour coding contest where we are likely to involve all the colleges in the state and the make the contest an inter-college competition.
CONSTRUE, CODEX’s first coding event, was meant to serve as a precursor for the coding events to follow. In this contest, a programmer tries to decipher the source code given the outputs in contrast to obtaining the outputs by writing a program – hence the name, ‘ CONSTRUE ‘- make the sense of.The problem statement was pretty challenging and required knowledge of pattern analysis is needed.
