We are pleased to disclose that PVP Siddhartha Institute of Technology has been selected as one of the Skill Development Centre approved by Government of Andhra Pradesh, APSSDC. The main objective of Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation is to deliver a structured, sustainable and scalable framework to impart state of the art skills to the unemployed, underemployed, uncertified and un-benchmarked and to address the lack of relevant skills amongst the current and potential Skill Workforce in the state of A.P. and to increase employability in sync with Industrial growth of the state. The whole idea is to create an opportunity space for the students by training them in different platforms, enabling the students to formulate problems, and solve them by coming up with software in the form of apps.
At the inaugural function organized on 12th February in connection with the event, Dr K.Sivaji Babu, Principal PVPSIT said that the institution is providing all necessary infrastructural facilities besides imparting quality technical education to the engineering aspirants. The global economy being in the recovery phase in the aftermath of the widespread recession, the engineering graduates would have plenty of job opportunities, which they should grab with necessary skills and competencies.
Sri B.Sree Ramulu, Convener of the College, speaking on the occasion said that engineering students should enhance the confidence levels and move ahead with leadership qualities to scale the heights of professional success in the current day competitive world.
Dr.A.Sudhir Babu , Head of the CSE Department , Speaking on the occasion said that engineering students should enhance their technical skills to get placed in good companies and It is very important to inculcate the various technologies in the software industry to success in their professional career.
Addressing the students Mr.A.Vanamala Kumar, Specially appointed as a coordinator and Faculty for Skill development program conducted by APSSDC, called upon the students to develop necessary skill-set keeping with the emerging trends needs and demands of the industry and corporate world. He also discloses that the training program commences from 13th February 2015 to 4th April 2015 and the students who are take part of this program doing their projects under the guidance of APSSDC from now onwards. Also he said that all the SDC students should assemble in the lab by 8:45 AM every day.
