Rules:
Team Composition:
- Each team should consist of a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 students.
- Inter-college teams are allowed, but all team members must be students currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs
Paper Submission:
- Each team must submit an original technical paper on a topic related to the field of electronics and communication engineering (ECE).
- The paper should be formatted according to the IEEE paper template, including font size, margins, and citation style.
Paper Title & Sub-Headings:
- The paper title should clearly indicate the topic of the research or study.
- Sub-headings should be used to organize the content logically. A standard technical paper contains an introduction, which includes a statement of the problem, a literature review and a general outline of the paper, a methods section showing the work done, results and analysis, discussion and applications, conclusions and References.
Presentation Time:
- Each team will be allotted a specific amount of time to present their paper. Typically, presentation times range from 10 to 15 minutes per team, depending on the number of participating teams and the overall schedule of the event.
Question & Answer Session:
- Following each presentation, there should be a designated period for questions from the audience and judges. The duration of the Q&A session may vary but is commonly around 5 minutes per team
Evaluation Criteria:
- Judges will evaluate the technical papers and presentations based on predefined criteria.
- Common evaluation criteria may include clarity of presentation, technical content, research methodology, originality of work, relevance of findings, and overall impact.
- Judges should be provided with scoring sheets or rubrics to facilitate consistent evaluation across teams.
Prizes:
- Prizes may be given to the top-performing teams based on their scores.
- Certificates of participation or appreciation may also be provided to all participating teams.
Code of Conduct:
- Participants are expected to adhere to professional and ethical standards throughout the contest.
- Plagiarism or any form of academic dishonesty will result in disqualification.
- Respectful behavior towards judges, organizers, and fellow participants is mandatory.
Selected candidates should bring their identity card at the time of presentation
Selected candidates should bring hard copy of the paper at the time of presentation
