PVPSIT Central Library is committed to providing quality learning resources, digital access, and continuous improvement to support outcome-based education.
Central Library supporting teaching, learning, and research for all engineering programs.
Central Library contributes to Program Outcomes and Program Specific Outcomes by enabling self-learning, research support, project work, and lifelong learning skills.
Central Library is fully automated using LIBSYS10 LMS (Library Management Software). It is web-centric, supporting 20,000+ unique records, 5 concurrent housekeeping clients, and 25 concurrent OPAC users on a Windows 2012 server platform. It uses barcode systems for book issue/return.
The Library is an institutional member of DELNET. It provides access to over 1.2 crore records and is connected to 2196 libraries.
