Physical education is an organized experience related to general education that leads individuals and groups into learning neuromuscular skills, organic vigor (strength, endurance, agility, flexibility, power, and balance), desirable social attitudes, and creative expression through big muscle activities.
The Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences plays a key role in promoting fitness and recreational activities by providing ample opportunities through various programs and infrastructure. Our gymnasium provides informal recreation opportunities for male and female students separately.
Outdoor games such as volleyball, basketball, football, ball badminton, throw ball, tennikoit, badminton, and athletics are available on campus. Students also have access to indoor facilities including table tennis, chess, caroms, and a gym for men and women separately.
Our intramural sports program offers opportunities to actively participate in games and sports, providing a safe and friendly environment for healthy competition.
Students with talent in any sport are given multiple opportunities to compete in intercollegiate, inter-university, or other tournaments. We are proud to mention that Mr. B. Chetan Anand, an Arjuna Awardee in badminton, is one of our alumni.
Come – take part in the physical education program which helps you in many ways.
