laboratories and Industry.This Council is assisted by Programme Advisory Committees (PACs) in various disciplines of Science & Engineering.
Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR)
CSIR is the premier industrial R&D organization in India constituted in 1942 by a resolution of the then Central Legislative Assembly.
It is an autonomous body registered under the Registration of Societies Act of 1860.CSIR aims to provide industrial competitiveness, social welfare,

Indian Council of Medical research is the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research.
The Council promotes biomedical research in the country through intramural and as well as extramural research.
Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC)
BARC provides a broad spectrum of scientific and technological activities extending from basic laboratory bench scale research to scaled up plant level operations.

Saha Institute of Nuclear Science (SINP)
SINP is an autonomous research institute founded by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.
It is involved in basic research in a number of areas of Physics, both theoretical and experimental.
